Welcome to month #2 of our blog project! Each month I am participating in a blog circle with a super talented group. And each month we are assigning ourselves a different light source for our images to be based around. If you’d like to catch up on last month’s post, you can see it HERE. This month the theme is artificial light…and wow, this was a tough one for me! I kind of knew from the beginning that I wanted to do something with reading/books because they play such a huge part in my little ones daily lives. Both Brooks and Caely love their books. Caely, who is in Kindergarten, is just starting to be able to read whole books on her own and it is amazing seeing her learning to sound out words and putting them all together. She is so smart and amazes me every day. Brooks loves just sitting and looking at his books.. just like Caely did at his age. It’s super sweet and I love that his books are some of his most favorite “toys”. So for the artificial light, I used a little lantern inside a little quilt tent that took me way too long to build, haha!

Next up in our circle is Lynn Nalty from Square Balloon Photoshop Actions and Tutorials. She is so creative and I just know her post is going to be so fun! Click HERE to see what she has in store for us this month!
