Welcome to my first 11 on the 11th post! Each month I will be participating in a blog circle with an amazingly talented group of photographers (how I became included in this I have no idea! the talent in this group is no joke…hopefully I can keep up, haha). We will be posting 11 images each month on the 11th and linking to each other’s blogs in a circle of sorts so that you are able to click from blog to blog enjoying beautiful images along the way 🙂 Sounds fun, right? There are no rules or themes for what images we can post only that the images are taken this month and we have to be in at least one of the images. Now I did sort of cheat…I was having a tough time picking only 11 images to post, so I’m counting these little collages as one image 🙂
Since we are in full force over here getting ready for baby boy, I thought it would only be appropriate if my post this month was centered around our excitement for his arrival! So without further adieu….
I *finally* finished Bear’s nursery this past week! (By the way, for those not in the know, Bear is our nickname for this little guy. We aren’t announcing his name until he is born and we needed something to call him when talking about the baby with Caely. I’ve really started to love the nickname now 🙂 and wonder if it will end up sticking even after we know his name) And I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this room 🙂 I’m so so so excited to bring him home and now that his nursery is finished, it really is starting to feel like we are actually ready and this is actually happening, yay! So many little details went into planning this room and honestly, I can’t believe I actually pulled it off. I could have never made it happen without the awesomeness that is Pinterest, Etsy.com, and of course, my glue gun and craft bin 😉
Anyways, enough with the talking, time for the pics, right?!
(this little gray and white outfit is his coming home outfit…hopefully he fits into it!! It seems so tiny!)
Since when did my baby girl get so big?! She is so ready to be a big sister 🙂 And her excitement seriously warms my heart <3
I have so many empty frames just waiting for adorable newborn images to be put in them! And I love the little car drawer pulls on the dresser. It’s all about the little details, right 😉
And since this week marks me being 35 weeks pregnant, I thought I would end this post with a maternity selfie 🙂 Plus I don’t have a shot from this pregnancy from this angle…such a round belly, haha! It’s hard to see how crazy big my belly is from this angle but I thought it was a fun shot to mix it up with the profile ones!
And that’s it for me this month! Next month we will have a brand new baby boy and hopefully I will be posting 11 images of him and our new family of four!!
Next up in this circle is the uber awesome Alison Janki Photography…click HERE to visit her blog and see the 11 gorgeous images she put together this month 🙂
