A quick update as we move into the fall season! I have been fully vaccinated since the end of April and was so happy to see things moving in a positive direction as summer began. Of course, delta threw a bit of a wrench in our plans but hopefully it will not interfere with session scheduling like it did in early 2020 and I will be able to keep photographing families safely this season!
That being said, I will continue to wear a mask during all of my sessions – indoors and out. If I’m being honest, I think it should have always been a thing – especially during newborn sessions. Babies are so vulnerable and there are always so many germs going around, besides just Covid. I have two kiddos at home myself, so I understand the worry for these little guys who aren’t yet eligible for the vaccine.

I am currently scheduling sessions for 2021 with my continued covid precautions in place. Photographing families safely is my main priority! For me, this means staying a safe distance away as much as possible and using a long lens to shoot, wearing a mask, and avoiding as much personal contact as possible with clients during the session. I am confident that I will still be able to beautifully capture this special time for your family even with these new policies in place as my style is primarily unposed, focusing on connections.

I am currently offering a little more hands-on posing and swaddling at newborn sessions. But if that doesn’t fit your comfort levels, I am also able to capture your family completely contact free 🙂 That is one of the best parts of lifestyle photography – capturing the beauty of family connections and the in between moments that you will always want to remember, no posing needed.

I will continue to do my best to keep your families safe during this time and like always, you are free to wear a mask or not during your session when you are not being photographed, whatever makes you comfortable.
