Another one of my Baby’s 1st Year plan babies turned one this month 🙂 I just love love love being able to watch these little ones grow over their first year! It is so amazing how much babies change over those first twelve months, from sleepy, teeny newborns to cake smashin toddlers. 1st birthday sessions are one of my favorite types of sessions because of the cake smash 🙂 It’s so funny to see how each baby reacts differently to the cake. Some dig right in, some are very gentle and barely eat any, and some, like Ryan, need a little convincing that cake is good! And fun to smash 🙂

So when we first put Ryan down in front of his cake, he touched the icing and said “uh, no way guys…this cake is way too messy for me!”

But then we said, wait! Just taste it! It’s yummy! You’ll see 🙂

So he tasted, and he liked it!

and then he looked at us and we knew he was done and ready to clean up. So we headed upstairs for a bubble bath 🙂 The perfect way to end a cake smash!
