Can you believe it? I can’t! My sweet little guy celebrated his 1st birthday last month! If you remember back to my post right around when he turned one month old (see HERE) I started a little project to document each month of his first year. We all know how fast it goes and I wanted to have a way to look back and see his growth over the months as well as milestones and fun facts about him. I am proud to say that I actually completed this project, haha! And I am so excited to share it now 🙂 Here are all the images together:
And here they are individually so you can read each one a little easier 🙂 Happy birthday Brooksie Boy!

I love this! What a cute thing for a family to do with their baby and then make a book out of it! What an adorable little guy you have there too!
This is the best! Love it!
These are so great!
This is adorable! What software do you use to add text to your pictures?
Hi Kara!
Thanks so much 🙂 I used Photoshop to add the text.
How did you add the commentary around the baby? Did you have to use a specific program?
Caroline
Hi Caroline!
I used Photoshop to add the text 🙂
How did you do this? Did u make him lie on a big white paper and thereafter photoshop the picture with the milestones?
Yep! 🙂
How did you know his weight at the time? Would u take the pictures at the time he turned that month?
Hi Sarah 🙂
We went to the dr. a lot over his 1st year so most times I knew about what he weighed at the time.. other months, I just guesstimated! Haha 🙂

This is the most darling way to do monthly pics ever! I’ve gone a bit crazy trying to track down the font you used for weight and length….are you willing to share?
These are great! Are the fonts provided by default in Photoshop, or did you purchase a few special fonts yourself? I see these new, beautiful fonts and would like the names so I can also use them! Thanks
Love your idea! Could you tell us Step by step how to do? What is the background he is line on? Did you buy a photographer background? How did you get these fonts?
I don’t know how to use photoshop but I want to try. 🙂
Did you use an ap on your phone? Or an editing program on your computer?
What did you use for the white background?
Such a lovely LOVELY idea! I would love to do this with my children! – I just might! Fantastic project!

I’ve seen so many people document their children’s ‘monthly’ bdays but this is the BEST! So, cute & creative!
Was it really just white paper as your backdrop? Did you find that it crinkled at all? LOVE LOVE LOVE the result, and want to recreate with my first on the way!!!

Love it!! I am curious like the others what you used for the white background and where to find the fonts. PLEASE SHARE 🙂
Hi Trisha! The background is just white seamless paper and the fonts I found on Pinterest for free. Just search for chalkboard fonts 🙂 Hope that helps!
What did you use for the background?
Like make of you, I’ve been searching for these fonts. The headline font seems to be “Return To Sender” FREE here:http://www.dafont.com/return-to-sender.font
Some of the others seem to be paid fonts. Sugarplum is available here, but is $30! http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/tart-workshop/sugarplum/regular/
Do you know the font name used on “months” and ” pound and inches”
Hii,
how fonts do you use in this pictures??
Muy bello
Me encantó tu dedicación, es precioso lo que hiciste! Ojalá yo pueda hacer algo así con mi pequeño de casi tres meses

How can I do this for my baby
Another question regarding the white backdrop, did you just lay it on the floor to get that clean no wrinkled look? Or did you do some editing to the background in Photoshop to make it look seamless?
Also, as a resource for others, Dafonts.com is great for adding tons of free fonts to your computer. I use Dafonts.com all the time for my Cricut projects.
These are fantastic! What a wonderful way to create memories. Can we share this on our FB and Instagram pages? Did you put in a booklet? or a frame? How did you preserve them outside of the digital platform? WOnderful! _ Bridget Kelly, Founder, The Little Acorn
