Brooks, my baby is ONE! | Bethesda, MD Newborn Baby and Family Photographer

Can you believe it? I can’t! My sweet little guy celebrated his 1st birthday last month! If you remember back to my post right around when he turned one month old (see HERE) I started a little project to document each month of his first year. We all know how fast it goes and I wanted to have a way to look back and see his growth over the months as well as milestones and fun facts about him. I am proud to say that I actually completed this project, haha! And I am so excited to share it now:)Here are all the images together:

I used Photoshop to add the text :)

tonyater - Hi Kara!

Thanks so much :) I used Photoshop to add the text.

Irene - How did you do this? Did u make him lie on a big white paper and thereafter photoshop the picture with the milestones?

Sarah - How did you know his weight at the time? Would u take the pictures at the time he turned that month?

tonyater - Hi Sarah :)

We went to the dr. a lot over his 1st year so most times I knew about what he weighed at the time.. other months, I just guesstimated! Haha :)

tonyater - Yep! :)

Esther - These are great! Are the fonts provided by default in Photoshop, or did you purchase a few special fonts yourself? I see these new, beautiful fonts and would like the names so I can also use them! Thanks

Marilu - Love your idea! Could you tell us Step by step how to do? What is the background he is line on? Did you buy a photographer background? How did you get these fonts?

I don’t know how to use photoshop but I want to try. :-)

Bmom - Did you use an ap on your phone? Or an editing program on your computer?

Trisha - Love it!! I am curious like the others what you used for the white background and where to find the fonts. PLEASE SHARE :)

bradp - What did you use for the background?

Mike - Like make of you, I’ve been searching for these fonts. The headline font seems to be “Return To Sender” FREE here:http://www.dafont.com/return-to-sender.font

Some of the others seem to be paid fonts. Sugarplum is available here, but is $30! http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/tart-workshop/sugarplum/regular/

Liz - Do you know the font name used on “months” and ” pound and inches”

Mariana Sundaus - Hii,
how fonts do you use in this pictures??

Rocio Araya - Muy bello

Camila Teran - Me encantó tu dedicación, es precioso lo que hiciste! Ojalá yo pueda hacer algo así con mi pequeño de casi tres meses

Carolina - Es Algo Realmente Espectacular, El Amor Hacia Los Hijos Se Puede Manifestar De Muchas Formas. Aparte De Que Nunca Antes Se Le Había Ocurrido A Alguien Hacer Un Acto De Estos.

tonyater - Hi Trisha! The background is just white seamless paper and the fonts I found on Pinterest for free. Just search for chalkboard fonts :) Hope that helps!
