To say that mini sessions this year were a success wouldn’t quite cover it 🙂 This was the first year that I opened up multiple weekends for minis and I was so happy with the turn out! I had some return clients plus a few new families that I was so excited to meet. I partnered up with the Potomac MOMS group which helped me reach out to new families and some past clients at the same time! Half of our sessions took place at Lake Needwood, one of my newest favorite locations and the other half were at McCrillis Gardens, a gorgeous hidden gem in Bethesda. Now be prepared, this blog post is HUGE. I seriously captured so many new favorite images during these sessions that narrowing down which ones to share was nearly impossible! Looking back through these images make me feel exhausted 🙂 but I’m already looking forward to next year’s minis 🙂 Enjoy!

this adorable family belongs to another local photographer, and let me tell you, it is SO flattering (and a bit nerve-wracking!) when another photographer books a session with me 🙂

this next family belongs to Erica Burns of Erica Burns Interiors, an amazingly talented interior designer in the DC area. If you click on over to her site, you may even recognize a few of my images from our interior design shoots 🙂 I hadn’t seen her little Elle since her newborn session last year and oh my gosh, she has grown into the most adorable toddler! I loved photographing her!

These next little guys hadn’t been to my studio since their newborn session earlier this year so I was super excited to see them 🙂 And that Santa hat shot is probably one of my absolute faves from this fall! I can’t wait for their 7 month session later this month!
